High-speed impact performance of a high-performance concrete with functionally gradient structure designs

Abstract Ultra-high performance concrete is characterized by its high strength and toughness, ceramsite can absorb energy function as a buffer. Based on the mechanical properties of both, two kinds materials are combined in spatial structure, three structural models, namely, gradient structure group target, double stacked single material designed prepared. Then, dynamic characteristics protection targets compared analyzed via experiments numerical simulations under different projectile penetration velocities. The results show that because transition layers fiber layer between interfaces set which largely improves resistance process penetration, cratering area, depth, depth target smallest same velocity. larger velocity is, more outstanding is.
